European Awards for traditional Romanian jams made by Sonimpex
SC Sonimpex Serv Com will be awarded, at the end of this month, by the International Taste and Quality Institute in Brussels (ITQI) for some other three of its own products in 'Topoloveana' range , respectively for the organic jams of blueberry, plum and sweet almond and underbrush.
According to a Sonimpex company press release, if in the last two years the company has sent to the annual competition the 'Topoloveni' plum jam and 'Topoloveana' black cherry jam, in 2012, another three 'Topoloveana' jams would be tasted by the prestigious international cuisine masters, all receiving the 'Superior Taste Award'.
The three kinds of 'Topoloveana' jams and their recent awards received in the 'Superior Taste Award' competition, dubbed by Trends Magazine 'the Michelin Food Guide' are the organic blueberries jam, which received two Golden Stars in the 'Superior Taste Award 2012 ' range and a'Remarkable' qualification, the plum with sweet almond and underbrush jams, receiving each one Golden Star in the 'Superior Taste Award 2012 ' range and a 'Notable tasting' qualification.

The ceremony of handing diplomas and medals that accompany the awards will be held in Buxelles, on May 31, 2012.
According to Sonimpex, more than 2,600 products took part in this competition, and from the 997 awarded by the ITQI jury, together with the three Sonimpex products there were another four Romanian products, respectively Perenna Premier mineral water, Stalinskaya Vodka, Nasal Napolact cheese and 'Numa' bun' (Just good) Napolact yoghurt.
