Trade: Gorenje Romania wants to sell household apparata worth 13 million euro

The importer and distributor of household apparata Gorenje Romania, part of the Slovenian group Gorenje counts on a growth of sales by 10% for this year, worth over 13 million euro. “ Last year the sales of Gorenje products on the market of Romania reached almost 12 million euro, according to the estimates. For this year we expect a 10% growth due to the development of the distribution network and the diversity of the range of products” Damir Drazetic, the general manager of Gorenjie Romania said.

Big household appliances will represent approximately 70% of the sales. “As regards the market share we own, this is between 3% and 10% depending on the products” Drazetic said.

Specialised shops bring 35% of the sales of Gorenjie Romania, the difference being covered by independent shops (25%), cash and carry, hypermarkets and do-it-yourself chains (20%) online sales (17%) or those through specialised networks for kitchen equipment sales (3%).
