The rent for industrial and logistics spaces in Romania have been stable, at present the level of rent for big spaces, which are over 5,000 sq.m, being between 3.2 – 3.8 euro per square metre per month, the report Global Occupancy Costs Logistics 2013 made by DTZ says.
As the demand is low, correlated with a limited volume of deliveries announced, the developments type build-to-suit will be the main incentive for the activity of constructions in this domain in Romania’ says Rodica Tarcavu, head of Industrial Department DTZ Echinox.
DTZ launched the report Global Occupancy Costs Logistics 2013, which presents the present costs for occupancy for the logistics spaces on 64 markets in the world. The report shows the situation of lodgers in Europe who benefit from a modest growth of the costs. The prognosis for the next five years says an annual average growth of 1.4% in Europe. However, the difference between markets is noticeable. The trend of growth in Dublin will continue even after 2014. On the other hand, in Milan there is a strong decline of costs for short and medium-term range.
In the case of Bucharest, the prognosis says an annual average growth of 0.8%
