Telecom. IT: Total incomes from supply of electronic communication networks and services dropped by 3,3% in first semester

ANCOM announced that overall incomes obtained from the supply of electronic communication networks and services dropped by 3.3% in the first semester of 2018, up tp 7.76 billion lei (1.67 billion euro). Operators’ incomes grew by 2.4% compared to the same period of 2017.

At the same time, incomes obtained from fixed and mobile internet services went up by 2.7% in the first semester, to 2.42 billion lei. They represented 31% of total market incomes.

The biggest drop was recorded in the fixed phone area -12.3% to 890 million lei. The mobile phone area dropped by 6.3% to 2.89 billion lei. The monthly incomes per capital dropped by 2.7% to 66.3 lei.
