Bucharest subway operator Metrorex has announced its intention to buy 16 new trains for an estimated EUR107.2 million. The volume of the retail trade dropped 4.8 percent in Romania in February 2011 from February 2010, a higher drop being only registered in Spain (minus 5.6 percent), according to the preliminary data supplied on Tuesday by the European office of statistics Eurostat.
