Romania To Increase Farming Subsidies By Over 10% This Year

Romania will increase the value of subsidies provided to farmers this year by over 10% compared to 2010, Agriculture Minister Valeriu Tabara said Wednesday in a press conference.In 2010, farmers received EUR80.36 per hectare from European Union funds, plus EUR50.64 per hectare from the state budget, said the minister.
