Infrastructure: New bridge over the Tisa

The Romanian National Company for Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) expects to receive until the end of July, offers for a contract estimated at 830,00 euro, VAT included for the revision/updating of a feasibility study needed to build a new bridge over the Tisa river, in the Toplita area, Sighetul Marmatiei.The contract financed with European money and from the state budget, is estimated between 2.40 million and 2.95 million lei and will be valid one year.

 

At present, the localities Sighetul Marmatiei and Solotvino (Ukraine) are connected by a single one lane bridge build in the early 2000s and consolidated in 2007-2008.“The general target is to improve Romania’s economic competitiveness by developing transport infrastructure which facilitates economic integration in EU, thus contributing to the development of domestic market and set up conditions to boost investments, promote durable transport and cohesion of the European road network. Besides its national importance, the project will serve international transit traffic for goods and passengers in Romania,” procedure documents show.Services will be contracted by open tender for the lowest price and the companies interested can send their offers until July 31.
