Infrastructure: CCIFER: Romania’s infrastructure raises questions for new investors
Romania’s infrastructure raises question marks for new investors, although the country has much to offer, said Francois Coste, the president of the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER), at a press conference.
“Infrastructure is the key to development. A country without a good infrastructure system will not find a privileged place in European economy. Romania’s infrastructure raises question marks for new investors and it’s unfortunate since Romania has much to offer. For instance, 50 prospecting missions for the Romanian market have been organized since the beginning of the year for French companies. But to go forward we need to know how to play our cards in point of quality, durability and innovation in infrastructure,” Coste said.
He pointed out that we must yield priority to prevention and open the path to new investments in the field.
According to the CCIFER president, the structure he is head of wants to offer expertise by means of specialists from member companies he represents and relaunch “infrastructure, this vital sector for Romanian economy”.
CCIFER organized in Bucharest the international conference “Infrastructure of tomorrow’s roads”, an event that continues the action initiated by the launch of the White Charter of Constructions.
