Nabucco, AGRI on talks agenda of Economy Ministry and Hungary's Embassy in Bucharest
Minister-delegate for Energy Constantin Nita, on Wednesday, welcomed a delegation of Hungary's Embassy to Romania, and their talks agenda scheduled topics such as the cooperation in energy, with an emphasis on the Nabucco Project and the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector (AGRI) project.
According to the release the Ministry of Economy, attending the talks were Hungary's Ambassador in Bucharest Fuzes Oszkar and trade attaché Szabo Miklos.
During the meeting, there were approached several aspects of strategic energy projects like Nabucco and AGRI, the interconnecting pipeline between Arad (western Romania) and Szeged (Hungary) and the Inter-governmental Agreement on minimal safety stocks of crude and petroleum products.
Minister delegate Constantin Nita reaffirmed Romania's commitment to the importance of the regional cooperation, particularly in strategic fields, with an impact on energy security.
Both countries reiterated their openness to a constructive cooperation viewing the development of the joint projects, and the capitalization of the investments opportunities.
