Fuels, 30 percent more expensive in past twelve months

Petrom, the biggest oil company in Romania, and Rompetrol, controlled by KazMunayGas group in Kazakhstan, raised by 30 percent the price of fuels in the past twelve months, the average price of petrol now stands at 3.7 RONl, or one euro, and that of diesel fuel at 4.25 RONl, or 1.15 euro.In 2008, Petrom rose the prices three times, with the international crude oil prices continually rising, too.Rompetrol, the second biggest operator in the market, sets prices every week.Since the ...
