Trade: Fuel and non-food products led to a slight increase in retail in April
In April 2013 the volume of the turnover in retail ( besides that of vehicles and motobikes) increased against the previous month both as gross series by 9.2% as well as as adjusted series depending on the number of work days and season by 2.0% sent on Monday the officials of the National Institute for Statistics in a press release. Against the corresponding month of the previous month, the same indicator increased both as gross series as well as adjusted series depending on the number work days and season by 2.7% and 1.2% respectively.
Between 1.I – 30.IV.2013 the volume of turnover in the retail ( without vehicles and motobikes) increased against the same period of the previous yar, both as gross and adjusted series depending on the number of work days and season by 0.6% and 1.0% respectively.
April 2013 compared to March 2013
The volume of turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicles and motobikes) gross series for April 2013 as compared to the previous month increased as a whole by 9.2% due to the increase of the fuel retail for vehicles in specialised shops (+17.1%),non-food sales(+10.2%) and food produces, drinks and tobacco (+2.8%).
The volume of the turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicles and motobikes) adjusted series depending on the number of work days and season, in April 2013, as compared to the previous month, increased as a whole by 2.0% due to the increase of the sales of non-food (+5.1%) and fuel retail for vehicles in specialised shops (+2.9%). Drops were recorded in the sales of food, tobacco and drinks (-0.3%).

The volume of turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicles and motobikes) gross series for April 2013 as compared to April 2012 increased as a whole by 2.7% due to the increase of non-food sales(+8.5 %).Drops were recorded for retail with fuel for vehicles in specialised shops (-2.5%) and sales for food, drinks and tobacco ( -0.3%).
The volume of the turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicles and motobikes) adjusted series depending on the number of work days and season, in April 2013 as comapred to April 2012 recorded an increase of 1.2% due to the increase of sales of non-food (+6.1%) and sales of food, drinks and tobacco (+0.3%). Retail for fuel for vehicles in specialised shops dropped by 4.8%.

The volume of the turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicle and motobikes retail) gross series for the above-mentioned period as compared to the previous period recorded an increase by 0.6% due to the increase of the sale of non-food (+2.6%) and food, drinks and tobacco ( +1.1%). Retail commerce for fuel for vehicles in specialised shops dropped by 3.5%.
The volume of turnover for retail ( with the exception of vehicles and motobikes) the adjusted series depending of the number of work days and season, for the discussed period as compared to the previous period recorded a growth of 1.0% due to the increase of sale for non-food (+3.5%9 and food, tobacco and drinks ( +1.4%). Retail for fuel in specialised shops dropped by 2.8%.
