Romania’s wheat exports hit 294 kmt in January

Romania exported 294 kmt of wheat in January – out of which 125.9 kmt to Egypt alone. Other important recipients of Romanian wheat were Tunisia, with 54 kmt, and Libya, with 51 kmt. Notably the traders shipped 25 kmt to Congo – a rather exotic destination for country’s grains. Maize/corn exports were also strong, at 291 kmt.
