Real estate market in 2014: 10% more apartments at lower prices
The average price asked by landlords for apartments is 5-6% lower in April compared to the same period of 2013, statistics made by AnunturiPublicitare.ro show. The same statistics show that 11,000 apartments were for sale in the market in the first 4 months, 10% more than in the same period of 2013.
The same statistics show that in April 2014 there was a drop of the average price landlords asked, that is 1-2% less than the previous month, 2-4% less than in January and 5-6% less than in April 2013.The number of offers made in the market in the first 4 months of the present year is 10% higher than in the same period of last year. 10,000 apartments were in the market in the period January-April 2013, while in January-April 2014 there were 11,000 apartments.

One room apartments
The average price asked by private owners in April 2014 was of 31,311 euro, 1% less than in March 2014 and 6% less than 12 months before when the average price was 33,363 euro. As for the offer, 2,324 one room apartments were for sale in the market in the first 4 months of 2014, against 1,921 in the same period of 2013. In April 2014 landlords took 551 one room apartments in the market.
Two room apartments
The average price for two room apartments in April 2014 was 50,462 euro, 1% lower than in the previous month and 5% lower than the price asked 12 months before when the average price was 53,307 euro. In the first 4 months of 2014, 4,636 two room apartments were for sale in the market, compared to 4,080 in the same period of 2013. 1,038 two room apartments were for sale in April.
Three room apartments
The average price for three room apartments was 70,019 euro in April 2014, 1% lower than the previous month and 4% less than in April 2013, when the average price was 72,978 euro. 3,339 three room apartments were for sale in the market in the first 4 months of 2014, against 3,004 in the same period of 2013. 763 three room apartments were for sale in the last month.
Four room apartments
The average price for a four room apartment was 92,813 euro in April 2014, 2% less than in the previous month and 6% lass than 12 months before when the average price was 96,807 euro. 959 four room apartments were for sale in the first 4 months of 2014, against 950 in the same period of 2013. 208 four room apartments were for sale in the last month.
