The ramshackle car scrappage scheme will be supplemented with 50,000 more vouchers next week, on which the state is spendin 190 million lei, Minister of Environment and Forests, Laszlo Borbely, told a press conference on last Thursday.He announced that there were distributed 94,000 vouchers so far from the total 110,000 established and that a government decision will be taken next week on issuing more vouchers, for it appears that the demand exceeds 110,000 vouchers.This ...

The used car industry in Romania posted the biggest decline in March, of 75%, from 13,060 cars to 52,897 data from DRPCIV show.In the same period of 2009, the used car market grew 259% and slumped 66% in December.
