Infrastruture : The contract for the finalisation of the Highway Bucuresti-Ploiesti was signed: the value of the works is over 129million lei
The contract for the drafting, execution and finalisation of the 3.3 km ‘ left over’ of the section Bucuresti –Ploiesti of the Highway Bucuresti-Brasov was signed, the value being 129.181 million lei,without VAT according to an announcement of the National Company for Highways and National Roads of Romania (CNADNR), posted on Friday night on the Facebook page of the ministry of transport (MT). According to the announcement, the contract’ Drafting and execution, finalisation of the Highway Bucuresti – Brasov, section Bucuresti –Ploiesti , sector 1 km 0+000 – km, 3+325; Nod Centura Bucuresti km 6+500 and NodMoara Vlasiei km 19+500 was signed on Friday, the finalisation being insured from the state budget.
‘The sector of highway Bucuresti – Ploiesti, km 0+000 ( Petricani crossroads) – km 3+325, nod centura Bucuresti and Nod Moara Vlasiei come in the general network of highways to be built in our country and represents the starting sector of the highway Bucuresti-Brasov’ CNADNR says.
This highway sector, after its putting into value, will allow traffic on the highway starting with str.Petricani up to Ploiesti, taking into consideration that circulation is done between the crossroads with the Bucuresti ringroad (km 7+400) until Ploiesti, between km 3+325 and km 7+400 the works being finalised, but not being able to open traffic due to the lack of connection with the existing road network.
The contract for the drafting and execution was attributed to Asociation Aktor SA –Euro Construct Trading ’98 SRL and has a duration of implementation of 22 months, out of which four months represent the period for drafting and 18 monhs the duration for execution. The guarantee period offered to the works is 48 monthssince the signing of the acceptance protocol at the end of the works.
According to a press release of CNADNR the highway Bucuresti – Ploiesti is the only in Romania with three lanes on one direction. The construction of the first 19.5 km of the highway was started in 2007 when the contract was signed with Asociation Impresa Pizzarotti C SpA – Tirrena Scavi SpA. Until 2015 when the contract was cancelled, being built 16.175 km.
The contract was stopped due to the legal impossibility to finalise it, as the implementation of the project met some alterations required by various authorities ( Bucharest Towhall, Voluntari Townhall, Road Police) which determined the substantial alteration of the value of the contract, CNADNR says.
