Cars: Nearly 200 Ferraris, Lamborghinis run on Romanian roads

Among the 4.48 million cars registered in Romania, according to the data released by the Driving Licenses and Vehicle Registration Department (DRPCIV), there are 152 Ferraris and 42 Lamborghinis, the Capital publication writes on Friday.

According to the DRPCIV statistics for 2012, the most popular Ferrari model is F430, with 25 Romanians driving such as car, followed by Ferrari California and Ferrari 458 models, with 18 units each, and the 612 model.

Older Ferrari models can be seen as well on Romanian roads, such as the Daytona and Ferrari 400 GT, but also 3 Ferrari Four, the first mass-production four-wheel drive model made by Ferrari, with a price tag exceeding 200,000 euros.

As to the Lamborghini car make, the traditional rival of Ferrari cars, as many as 42 Romanians can boast about owning one in their garage. Registered in Romania there are 17 Gallardos, 12 Murcielagos, 4 Aventadors and one Miura.
