Cars: Ferrari, Lancia, Lamborghini and McLaren registred in July

 Such luxury cars as Ferrari, Lancia, Lamborghini and McLaren got to the garages of Romanian owners in July, shows the statistics drawn up by the Directorate for Driving Licences and Vehicle Registration.

According to the recently published statistics, one new Ferrari was registered in July, thus raising the number of such cars owned in Romania to four in the seven months of this year, down by 20 percent from the same period a year ago. As for used cars, Ferrari has two vehicles registered in July and six over Jan.-July. 

As many as 23 Lancia cars were registered in July, according to the Directorate data, with only one of them being new. Total Lancia registrations in the seven months of the year amounted to 152, with only two of them being new. 

Two Lamborghinis got Romanian owners in July. There were four new Lamborghini registrations over Jan.-July, marking 33.33 percent rise from the same period in 2014. 

Among the luxury cars registered in Romania in July was also a new McLaren. 

According to the Directorate, the number of the new vehicle registrations was up 14.72 percent in July to 12,253 units as compared to last July. As many as 9,253 of such vehicles were cars, up 10.58 percent year-on-year, from 8,368 units.
