Agriculture : Gov't adopts resolution granting financial support to winegrowers
The Romanian Government on Wednesday adopted a Resolution setting up the manner of granting the financial support from the European Union to the winegrowers for 2014-2018, the executive said in a release.
The act approves the financial support measures of Section IV, chapter II of the (EU) Rules of the European Parliament and European Council.
'The measures for which the EU financial support is granted the vine and wine producers for 2014-2018 are as follows: restructuring and re-conversion of the vine plantations, the promotion of wines, insuring the grape harvest and investments', the release said.
The EU is extending 47.7 million euros in annual financial support. National financial support under the form of co-funding accounting for 30 percent of the value of the eligible spending can be granted in line with the measure for the wine promotion.
