The second nuclear plant, to be built in Romania, could have a total capacity of 2,200 MW, with two groups of 1,100 MW each, according to a provisional version of the draft of the Energy Strategy for the period 2011-2035. The net domestic electricity consumption in Romania might decrease from 2.7 percent in 2011 to 1.14 percent by 2035, according to a provisional version of the energy strategy draft for 2011-2035.
