Methane production to drop constantly by 2013

The usable natural gas production will drop by more than 5.5 percent in 2013, from 8.86 million tones of oil equivalent (toe) in 2008 to 8.37 million toe in 2013, according to the fall prognosis on the energy balance for 2008-2013 issued by the National Prognosis Commission (CNP).The methane production is expected to fall up to 8.7 million toe in 2009, to 8.6 million toe in 2010, 8.515 million toe in 2011 and to 8.440 million toe in 2012.The extracted crude oil production ...
