Conergy gets on the local market with a photovoltaic park close to Craiova

The German company Conergy gets on the market of solar energy in Romania with a photovoltaic park of 2.2 MW which they develop in Bobicesti, close to Craiova in partnership with the company Solanna Investment. Conergy will supply almost 9,400 modules Power Plus for the project, whose surface will be 13,700 square metres, according to a press release of the German company.

The annual production of the photovoltaic park of almost 2,840 MW is sufficient to supply with electricity 870 households.

According to the information on the electricity market, the cost of the investment in a MW installed in solar panels is of almost 1.5 million euro, thus the investment would be over 3 million euro. The government intends to ensure almost 20% of the necessary of electricity of the country out of renewable resources before 2020, and besides the wind energy they will rely on the solar one” Alexander Gorski, member of the board on Conergy said.

The Romanian authorities estimate that at the end of last year the production capacity of energy through solar panels was approximately 100 MW and expect the market to grow up to 1,500 MW by 2016, he added.

In the first phase Conergy with activity in over 40 countries will develop on the market in Romania through the division in Italy.

The Solanna Investment is registered in Romania and has as shareholders four natural persons: Angel Borras Torra (Spania, 25%), Luigi Pala Giovanni (Italia, 25%), Vittorio Marras Mario (Italia, 25%) and Georgiana Almajanu Claudia (Romania, 25%).
