Bucharest will host next year the Conference for the Strategic Plan regarding technologies in energy
Bucharest will be between 12-14 June 2019 the host of the Conference for the Strategic plan regarding technologies in the domain of energy (SET)where almost 650 local and regional leaders, one of the objectives of the event being to improve the visibility of the Energy Union,announced on Friday the European Commission.
Other objectives are the exchange of ideas and good innovative practices for the development of sustainable solutions for European citizens and to take measures with the support of the local and regional institutions,the engine of the polic for the Energy Union. The conference will be an occasion to consolidate the collaboration between the authorities, companies and the academic environment.
‘The joint objectives of the SET plan of the Romanian government and the Region Committee can be reached only by collaboration so that the objective of the conference is to speed up the development of technologies with reduced emissions of carbon and the implementation of new technologies’ the press release says.
The event will be attended by 650local and regional leaders, members of the European Commission, members of government, as well as representatives of the companies active in the domain of energy.

The European Strategic plan regarding energy technologies (the SET plan) aims at the speeding up of development and use of technologies with reduced emissions of carbon dioxide which will supply consumers with clean, accessible and sustainable energy’ the press release shows.
This aims at improving the new technologies in an integrated approach and reducing costs through coordination of national efforts in research to accelerate the implementation of the objectives of the EU 2030 and 2050 according to the organisers.
