Rome, Milan and Athens were the most accessible foreign destinations for Romanians in 2017, with an average 230 euros per city break, Fly Go travel agency announced.
A significant advance was recorded for domestic destinations, where Fly Go sold 30% more plane tickets. The average price for Fly Go customers was 250 euros in 2017.
Fly Go recorded sales of 40 million euros last year, on the rise by 20% compared to the previous year, and estimates sales of over 50 million euros this year.
“Diversifying services such as introducing city break in the offer has contributed to this increase and will continue to generate opportunities this year,”the press release shows.
In 2018, Fly Go estimates to exceed a transaction volume of 50 million euros in the three countries where it operates: Romania, Italy and Spain.
Plane tickets continued to be the most bought tourist products in 2017, when the agency sold 200,000 plane tickets.
