Tourism: Europa Royale, the newest hotel in historic Bucharest
Europa Royale Hotel, inaugurated last year in the historic center of Bucharest registered business of 1.1 million euro in 2012. The occupation degree was of 51%. September, October and November were the best months when occupation degree reached 63%. Hotel guests came 80% from the business area, while the rest of 20%were tourists.
“For 2013 we foresee a business figure of 1.9 million euro and the increase of the average occupation degree to 61%,” said Giedre Straksaite, deputy manager of Europa Royale Bucharest. “As for guests the tendency will remain the same – mainly from the business area. Over July-August and December- January we expect more tourists,” Straksaite said.
Europa Royale Bucharest is the first hotel of nine other hotels belonging to Europa Group Hotels, and has 92 rooms.
