Telecom.IT : Telekom Romania reaches 1 mln Facebook followers 

Telekom Romania reached 1 million fans on Facebook, that is 230,000 higher since the rebranded pages of Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania were combined into a singe page one a year ago. Telekom Romania's number of Facebook fans is the second highest in the ICT category, according to social networking monitoring service Facebrands.ro. The Telekom Romania official page, www.facebook.com/telekom.romania, was launched on 12 September 2014 concomitant with the rebranding of Cosmote Romania and Romtelecom by joining the Facebook pages of the two companies.

The increase in followers is the results of the developed campaigns, but also because of the end-users' interest in content containing useful information, sports and entertainment. The Facebook page has a forum section where users can type and get support for any type of situation concerning Telekom Romania services. (Source:telecompaper.com)
