Telecom.IT : Mobile telephony active users has reached on June 30 2014 some 22.3 million persons

The total number of mobile telephony active users has reached on June 30 2014, some 22.3 million persons, by 1.4 pct. less than in the similar period of 2013, the statistical data published by the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) read. 

According to the source, at half-year the number of subscribers of the land telephony decreased by 0.8 pct., to 4 million, while the number of mobile telephony subscribers grew by 1.3 pct., as compared to the same period of 2013. 

The statistical data report was carried out based on information sent by the electronic communications' services and networks' providers which have developed commercial activities in first half of 2014.
