Romanian state, through FNGCIMM, funds First Home Programme by 3.180 bn euros
The National SMEs Credit Guarantee Fund (FNGCIMM) recorded a funding value of 3.180 billion euros for the 'First Home' Programme from 2009 to March 25, 2013, with the number of files having reached 87,000, and with the default rate standing at 0.1 per cent, Irina Constantinescu, the coordinating manager of the Fund, told a Wednesday's press conference.The sum still available for this year stands at 572 million euros. According to the data presented by Constantinescu, since the start of 2013 and until March 25, the number of files reached 6,000, and the amount of lending stood at 201 million euros. In 2012, the number of files was 27,000, with the lending value having recorded 1.010 billion euros. In 2011, the number of files stood at 19,000, and the lending value hit 740 million euros.
