Romania’s winter crops robust, sunflower and maize at risk on prolonged drought

The winter crops in Romania, nearly completely harvested already, were left untouched by the recent drought, in fact they were slightly better than last year, while the sunflower and maize crops, and the rape crop to a lesser extent, have been severely damaged, Romania’s minister of agriculture Daniel Constantin said.
