Romania has drawn over 6.43 billion euros of EU funds for rural development up to September 22, 2014, which represents an uptake degree of some 72% of the total amount allocated through the National Rural Development Programme (PNDR) 2007-2013, according to the data provided by the Agency for Rural Investment Funding (AFIR), the former APDRP, during a visit to Crete to 10 EU-funded good practice projects.
