Real estate: Coldwell: Over 7,000 housing units completed in Bucharest this year
Developers will complete over 7,000 houses in residential projects in Bucharest and the outskirts. 30% of them will be of small dimensions, according to Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Romania which sold over 1,000 new apartments in 2014, 30% more than in 2013.
The houses negotiated by Coldwell Banker affiliates of Romania, one of the largest local real estate consulting companies, were sold directly from the developer.“2014 was the best year for the residential market since the beginning of the economic crisis and can be considered the year of stability. Prices continued their stabilizing tendency and developer launched a series of projects, the interest in the residential market being high,”said Valentin Ilies, the CEO of Banker Affiliates of Romania.
According to a Coldwell Banker analysis, over 7,000 houses will be completed this year in residential projects in Bucharest. About 30% of units completed this year are part of projects of small dimensions with an average of 30 units per project.
“Houses completed this year are better adapted to demand, some of them being already sold. There will be develop0ers who will register poorer results but with a good price strategy and a professional sales team satisfying results can be obtained,”Valentin Ilie said.
