Infrastructure: Minister Dan Sova invites Chinese investors to participate in infrastructure projects in Romania
Minister delegate for infrastructure projects and foreign investment Dan Sova has invited Chinese investors to participate actively in the implementatiuon of infrastructure projects that are under way, or in the planning stage, at the moment, in Romania, according to a release of the Department of Infrastructure Projects and Foreign Investments (DPIIS).
Attending the Local Leaders Forum in Chongqing, the Romanian official stressed in an address, within the Commerce - Investments Symposium, the importance that the Government of Romania attaches to the commercial exchanges between Romania and China.
At the bilateral economic level, Romania wants to strengthen the economic cooperation with the P.R. of China, cooperation that, next year, will turn 65, given that, in the framework of the Romanian government's policy of economic development, investments have a priority role and especially development of the energy sectors, of infrastructure, agriculture and environment protection, said Dan Sova in the opening of the Forum.
The Romanian official welcomed the fact that the bilateral relations are excellent politically and expressed his wish to see them translated at the economic level, through a pragmatic valuing of the existing economic potential of the two economies.
'I express my satisfaction for the signing of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Chinese People's Republic on strengthening cooperation in the field of infrastructure, on the occasion of the session of the Joint Governmental Commission of October 26, 2012. The Romanian side appreciates that this document paves the way for an accentuated development of the bilateral economic and commercial cooperation and will give an impetus to participation of the large Chinese companies in investment projects in Romania', the Romanian Minister added.
