Infrastructure: About 50% of passenger cars and 71% goods cars had exceeded wear and tear by end 2017

Half of passenger cars and 70.7% of goods cars on inventory on December 31, 2017 had exceeded wear and tear, according to the National Statistics Institute. There were 3,894 passenger cars of which 3,817 normal gauge and 77 narrow gauge cars (2%).
