Facebook, YouTube and YM mobile apps, preferred by Romanian youth
The most common web applications run on handheld devices by Romanian young people are Facebook, YouTube and Yahoo! Messenger, reveals a survey conducted by EuroGsm, the major retailer of the telecom operator Orange Romania.
According to data, the Romanian young people prove major consumers of smart phoning and rule out purchasing a phone device without access to Internet and social networks.
As regards the applications most run by young people on mobile devices, Facebook comes first, followed by YouTube and YM.
The top five web applications is completed by Foursquare and Instagram.
On the other hand, the top two most used operating systems are Android and iOS, their main benefit being the high range of preset applications coming with the system, and the possibility to download a large number of other apps from virtual stores.
The most sought after phones are iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S3, followed by HTC One X and Sony Xperia U, as well as Samsung s5230 Hello Kitty model, whose target niche are the kids under 14.
