Dacia car registrations stood at 276,850 units, in the first nine months of the year
Dacia car sales saw a significant in Europe (EU plus EFTA) January through September this year, with the market share of the local car manufacturer increasing from 2.3 per cent up to 2.8 percent, according to statistics published by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) on Friday.
Dacia car registrations stood at 276,850 units, in the first nine months of the year, representing a 28.5 per cent increase against the the same period of last year (215,518 vehicles).
The sales of the German auto groups Volkswagen and Daimler have increased by 7.7 percent and 2.2 per cent, respectively, the deliveries made by French groups Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroen by 15.4 per cent and 4.7 per cent, respectively, Ford managed a 6.6 per cent increase while General Motors deliveries have gone down 3.6 per cent.
Car registrations in September 2014 came in at 26,203 Dacia vehicles in Europe (EU plus EFTA), a 19.8 per cent increase when compared to the similar period of 2013, when car registrations clocked in at 21,876 vehicles.
Last month, the deliveries made by French groups Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroen have gone up by 10.3 per cent and 9.9 per cent, respectively, Ford recorded a 6.5 advance, the Volkswagen group - 6.2 per cent, the Daimler group 5.6 per cent, while deliveries made by General Motors and the BMW group have gone down 6.3 and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
The statistics focused on the auto markets of 29 European states, of which 26 come from the European Union, namely all excluding Malta, while three states are participants of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), namely Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
