Cars: The turnover of trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 3.1%
The turnover of trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 3.1% in unadjusted terms and by 3% in terms adjusted to the number of working days and seasonality, in the first nine months of this year, compared to the same period of 2013, according to the data released on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Thus, from January 1 to September 30, 2014, compared to the period January 1 to September 30, 2013, the turnover of wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles went up by 3.1% in unadjusted terms due to the increases recorded in the trade with motor vehicles (+4.9%), the trade in parts and accessories for motor vehicles (+2.5%) and the trade in motorcycle, related parts and accessories and maintenance and repair of motorcycles (+0.9%). The activities related to the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles went down by 1.2%.
