Cars : First Dacia Duster cars arrive in the UK

Twenty-two Dacia Duster SUVs have been recently unloaded from a ship in the UK, being the first out of several thousands to come this year on the car market in this country, reads Capital magazine.

The interest in this vehicle seems to grow in this country. In barely a few weeks, 5,500 Britons subscribed to the Dacia newsletter awaiting the price list to come out.

According to Dacia officials, the full price list and the features specific for the UK market will be released on June 28. The cars for sale will be delivered to the dealers this autumn and the clients will get them in January 2013. A new version of Dacia Sandero will launch in the UK in January as well.

Dacia said for now that Duster will have a minimum price below 10,000 pounds, and the development manager Rafael Treguer said that the British dealers who have already seen the Dacia models to be sold in the UK gave a positive feedback.

Dacia cars will sell within Renault UK network and possibly online, a way tested by now only in Italy and the Netherlands, Capital reads.
