Cars : DRPCIV statistics: VW, Dacia and Skoda in top of registrations

About 1500 cars were registered in the first part of August, most of them being Volkswagen, according to statistics of DRPCIV. According to official data, of the 1495 new registrations, 273 were Volkswagen, 240 Dacia and 206 Skoda. 93 Ford cars were registered in August 2012 from the local production. As for rare cars, there were 6 Jaguars, 4 Porsche units, 3 Lexus and Jeep, 2 Ferrari and Mini cars and 1 Infiniti. Expensive cars registered included 61 Audi, 47 BMW, 45 Mercedes Benz, 25 Land Rover and 7 Volvo. DRPCIV will release in September a list of new car registrations in Romania valid for August.
