Agriculture production up 8.9 percent in 2011

Agriculture production went up by 8.9 percent in 2011 compared to 2010 according to preliminary data released on Monday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).The crop production went up by 12.9 percent and the farm animal production went up by 0.8 percent whereas the agricultural services production dropped 4.6 percent.According to INS, no significant modifications in the production structure has been made.
