Transgaz Company needs 2.8 million euros for three compression stations required for the Romanian stretch of Bulgaria - Romania - Hungary - Austria corridor
Transgaz Company, the technical operator of the national natural gas transmission system in Romania is earmarking up to 2.8 million euros, pre-VAT for drawing up a technical project for three compression stations required for the Romanian stretch of Bulgaria - Romania - Hungary - Austria corridor, according to a participation announcement posted on the Electronic Public Procurement System website on Tuesday.
Transgaz wants to sign a contract for working out a technical project targeting three compression stations for PIC 7.1.5 (PIC is the Romanian for Common Interest Projects) - the Romanian stretch of the above-mentioned corridor, the source said.
Each compression station will be equipped with three turbocharger groups (two in operation and a reserve one). The minimum installed power for a compression station (ISO-condition power) will be of at least 10 megawatt and is to be precisely established at the design phase.
The announcement involves a public procurement contract and the procedure will be of the open-auction type. An electronic auctioning will be organized, with the contract to be assigned to the lowest bidder.
The contract is part of a EU-funded programme and benefits from non-repayable funding via Connecting Europe Facility - Energy programme.
The deadline for filing the applications for the documents or for access to documents is Sept. 2, 2015, 10 a.m. hrs and the deadline for receiving the offers or the participation applications is Sept. 3, 2015, 10 a.m. hrs. The offers will be opened on Sept. 3, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the company headquarters.
