The Sitemani company has become green energy producer
E.ON Energie Romania has installed a photovoltaic unit which generates annually 155.7 MWh for the food producer Sitemani in Sibiu, which become green energy producer.
‘E.ON Energie Romania and Sitemani, one of the best known food producers in the country finalised a project for green energy production, worth over 155,000 euro. The photovoltaic electric unit generates annually 155.7 MWh and ensures 14.35% of the annual consumption of energy of the Sibiu company’ announces the energy supplier.
The photovoltaic energy unit has an installed power of 140.7kWp and includes 420 photovoltaic panels installed on a surface of 1,000 square metres on the roofs of the Sibiu company.
Starting with 2018, E.ON has built and delivered 55 photovoltaic energy units with powers between 60 and 1,600 kWp with 13MW installed power for 41 companies in different sectors of the economy. There were installed almost 40,000 photovoltaic panels which generate 17 GWh of solar energy and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions with 3,900 tons per year.

The E.ON group is one of the leaders on the energy market, with a consolidated presence in Romania for 16 years. Since the presence in Romania, E.ON has invested almost 1.8 billion euro, mainly in the modernization of the networks. At the same time, the value of the contributions to the state budget and the local budgets is 2.5 billion euro.
