Tens of millions of euros invested in biofuel production facilities

The Romanian biofuel market, put at 100,000 tonnes in 2007 alone, is attracting tens of millions of euros worth of investments aimed at the opening of biofuel production facilities.Such an example is the business conducted in Lehliu (southeast of Bucharest) by Portuguese group Martifer. The plant's production capacity is about 100,000 tonnes of biodiesel a year.
