Romanian Energy Efficiency Forum 2014: “Supporting the final consumer in Romania”
The opportunities and challenges of implementing energy efficiency programmes as the next step in Romania’s energy strategy will be debated within the Romanian Energy Efficiency Forum 2014 organized by the Romanian Association for Promoting Energy Efficiency (ARPEE) and GOVNET Conferences at Hotel InterContinental Bucharest, on Thursday, October 9, 2014, starting with 08:30 am.
With the ratification of the law 2014/121 which enacts the 2012/27/EU Directive of the European Parliament, Romania has to update the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency and align its strategy in the field to the European standards.
Hence, representatives of ANRE (Romania’s Energy Regulatory Authority), the Department of Energy or the Industries and Services Commission within the Chamber of Deputies will present the latest information to facilitate the adoption of energy efficiency programmes in accordance with the newest provisions.
The debates will be focused on three sectors: industrial, cogeneration and buildings, providing both technical and funding solutions and opportunities for increasing energy efficiency. At the same time, discussions will follow the future directions of Romania’s energy market and energy services development, the conference coordinated by ARPEE in partnership with GOVNET Conferences offering an interactive platform connecting private companies with government delegates and regulatory authorities.
The partners of the Forum are: AB Energy, ALRO, ArcelorMittal, Bosch, Electromagnetica, EnergoBit ESCO, Philips, Renault, RoSEFF, Tractebel Engineering, Valeg.
