Romania's electricity output drops 5.5 pct in five months

The Romanian electric power resources in the first five months of this year totalled 25.810 billion KWatthour, down 1.469 billion KWh or 5.4 percent from the same period a year ago, the National Institute of Statistics announced in a release.The dwindled electricity resources were the result of diminished output by 173 million KWh or 5.5 percent.
