Romania no longer needs Russian gas

Romania will stop importing Russian gas in April due to reduction of its consumption in industry and rise of investments in energy efficiency. The country will cover all its demands for gas, RIA Novosti reports. Romania consumes 10-11 billion cubic meters of gas annually. 400 million cubic meters of the volume is imported from Russia.
