RATEN ICN Pitesti signed an agreement with CEA in France regarding the nuclear security and management of reactive waste
The Institute for Nuclear Research (RATEN ICN) Pitesti and the Commissariat for Atomic Energy (CEA) in France signed an agreement in Mioveni, for an exchange of experience on several levels, such as advanced materials, nuclear security, the management of reactive waste or radioisotopes for medicine.
Collaboration between the two research centres started ten years ago, shows a press release published on the site of the ministry for energy. Robert Tudorache, state secretary in the ministry for energy, is confident that there will be good collaboration in the academic area as,both in Romania and in France, there is real concern for the new generation of researchers in the nuclear domain.
