Primary energy resources dropped over the four months of the year by 12.8%
The resources of primary energy dropped over the four months of the year against the same period of last year by 12.8% and those of electricity diminished by 7% the National Institute for Statistics announced on Friday ."Over the same period, the electricity resources were of 20907.5 million KWh, dropping by 1566.0 million KWh ( -7.0%) against the same period of 2011.This was due to the decrease of production by 1723.3 million KWh (-7.7%)" the INS press release shows.
The production in the thermal power stations was of 11.59 billion KWh, higher by 350.4 million KWh (3.1%)The production in hydro power stations was 4.01 billion KWh, dropping by 2.59 billion KWh (39.2%) and that of nuclear power stations in Cernavoda was of 4.08 billion KWh, up by 42.6 million KWh ( 1.1.%).
The production in wind farms over the period analysed was 877.2 million KWh, up by 476.2 million KWh against the same period of last year.
The end consumption of electricity for this period was of 17.91 billion KWh, by 1.7% lower than during the same period of 2011. Public ligthting recorded an increase of 8.5% and the population consumption increased by 1.5%.
Electricity export was of 317 million KWh dropping by 1.22 billion KWh, respectively 79.5%.
Technological own consumption in the grid and stations was 2.77 billion KWh, dropping by 23.1 million KWh, 0.8% respectively.
