Minister Nita: Transgaz to be listed on April 15, Nuclearelectrica somewhere around May 10-15
Transgaz national natural gas transmission corporation will be listed on April 15, with Nuclearelectrica to be listed on the stock exchange somewhere around May 10-15, Minister-delegate for Energy Constantin Nita told a specialist conference on Thursday.
'15 percent stake in Transgaz will be listed on April 15, while 10 percent stake in Nuclearelectrica will be sold somewhere around May 10-15. We also have to handle the 10 percent stake listings in Oltenia, Romgaz and Hidroelectrica due this autumn, if Hidroelectrica emerges from insolvency and we believe this will happen on July 1,' said Nita.
According to him, the energy ministry considers a majority privatization as far as the Hunedoara Energy Complex is concerned.
'I hope the law on the reorganization of the National Energy System shall come into force by then and in that context, we shall be able to find another formula regarding this panel,' Constantin Nita said.
