Mihai Adrian Albulescu, appointed Romania's representative in Nabucco Committee

Economy Ministry's Secretary of State Mihai Adrian Albulescu was appointed Romania's representative in Nabucco Committee, through a decision of Prime Minister Victor Ponta released in the Official Gazette.

Through the same regulation, Rodin Traicu was released from the office of Romania's representative in the Committee.

Nabucco Committee includes governmental representatives of the transit countries of the gas pipeline designed to diversify the gas supply sources.

Nabucco pipeline will transit Romania on a 460 kilometre sector, of the approximately 3,300 total, and our country, through Transgaz, will ensure the approximately 417 million euro funding quota, the company's share in the project.

Nabucco project was initiated by five specialised companies, OMV (Austria), MOL (Hungary), Botas (Turkey), Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania). Subsequently, Nabucco consortium gained the sixth partner, through the inclusion of RWE Company (Germany).
