MECASOLAR supplies 2-axis trackers to solar PV plant in Romania totalling 1 MW
Mecasolar (Fustiñana, Spain) has supplied 97 dual axis solar photovoltaic (PV) trackers to a new project in Romania. The solar facility in Miroslava, 400 km away from Bucharest, is one of the biggest PV power plants in the country. It will be connected to the grid at the end of June.
The PV plant, which is expected to have an annual solar power output of 1,700 MWh, features 97 10,31 kWp 2-Axis trackers and more than 4,170 PV modules.
According to MECASOLAR sources, the 2-Axis solar trackers are capable of increasing photovoltaic solar energy production by more than 35%, when compared to a fixed installation.
MECASOLAR expects to strengthen its presence in Central Europe where the renewable energy market is expanding with good prospects for solar energy. (Source: solarserver.com)
