Hidroelectrica exported over 20% of the production in 2006

Hidroelectrica, the producer of the cheapest electrical energy in Romania, supplied last year to export over 20% of the generated electricity. Hidroelectrica supplied to four private companies almost 3.4TWh as its production was of almost 17.6TWh. In fact, the state company produced last 18.3 TWh but a part of this electricity was used for the consumption of the hidropower stations.
